Very happy with this refrigerator. We had only 30" of space, wanted the freezer on the bottom, and wanted black sides. Stainless ranges and microhoods are stainless and black, so why are so many appliance companies making stainless refrigerators with grey sides? Not a problem if the sides don't show, but a big problem if they do!
I do think it should come with one more door bin, which we just ended up ordering separately. It comes with the following storage pieces for inside of the door: 1 full-width bin, 3 half-width bins, and 1 half-width bin with a clear swivel cover. We ordered an additional half-width bin.

I bought Amana ABB2224DES fridge in 2005- the same fridge as this one essentially. Amana is old US brand as salesman put it, and Maytag owns it. You will find out when you'll buy Maytag parts for it when warranty runs out after 5 years due to Murphy's Law. Compressor shuts off by itself on this model- then it overheats trying to restart. The only option is to time 2 hours shutting it off with temperature controls inside (1-7 for freezer and 1-7 for fridge, and if you keep on pressing left arrow "--" will appear and the fridge shuts off, pressing the right arrow "reanimates" it, provided you wait for 2 hours). I replaced capacitor for Maytag upgraded module along with compressor relay- it tries to re-start the fridge for 20 secs instead of original' module's 30- and waits 2 minutes instead of 1 in attempt to restart. As room temperature increases so does the need for "reboots". Consumer Reports states lifespan of a bottom freezer fridge is 14 years. Fridges made in the 60's are not... Read more

I purchased 2 Whirlpool 4396701 refrigerator water filters on line from Amazon.com a few weeks back. We run a small cafe and were looking for a a couple of display fridges that we could use to retail sodas to go. This looked great in the pictures and turned out even nicer than expected. The description says 117 cans but we actually managed to squeeze in 118 cans into the fridge through a little clever positioning.
It took awhile to get cool, but got down to a very nice frosty level after running it overnight. The more you put in the longer it takes obviously. I noticed one of the units not getting as cold as our other units and realized that we placed it too close to the wall blocking the back ventilation. Moved it out a few inches and it worked as hoped. Very excited that my wife got this just in time for our SuperBowl party. We hold a small party every year and my old fridge just passed away last month.
The capacity of this fridge is huge, I just kept going and going and it still had space. My beer was getting a little too cold but I finally found the temperature control on the inside of the fridge near the light. Set it perfectly and everything is good now. What I like is that stainless door comes with a nice handle which makes the overall look quite sharp. The glass door is something I've never had before but it's a really nice feature that never occurred to me.
